Declaration Day – Iced Earth

Full View Please I have compiled these images to Iced Earths song Declaration Day. Thier album The Glorious Burden is filled with many awesome songs about American history. Some real kick butt power metal. Ive had this idea for a while now and Ive been feeling quite patriotic lately so I had to put this together as a tribute to our nations violent birth. Many of the figures you see here are George Washington, Patrick Henry, Paul Revere, John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson, Molly Pitcher and Benjamin Franklin. Those are some of the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Iced Earth – The Clouding (custom version)

This is my own version of The Clouding. I loved Barlows version of the first half of the song, but loved Rippers second half. As far as this song goes, Barlow takes the role of mankind, while Ripper takes the role of the setians. The transition isnt smooth, but what the hell. Its the best I can do. I prefer Rippers second half to Barlows because he was more menacing and violent. The only thing I didnt like about Barlows version was just that, he did not sound like he wanted to tear your head off (like he does in the original Prophecy and Coming Curse) . So I did this because: 1) Boredom 2) I just wanted to The opening image and the closing image are copyright of Kamil Pietruczynik: Just for kicks, here are the lyrics: (Barlow) As I awake I have no memory of this Who I am, where Im from, why do I exist? This strange beauty surrounds me But where I am confounds me I see others who appear the same as me A look of loss in their eyes, adrift aimlessly Whats the point? What does it all mean? Who am I? Show me a purpose please Take this sense of wonder Make it go away Please tell me I am not alone and lost here That there is something thats made me feel this way Take this sense of sadness Make it go away Please give me something thats familiar A friendly touch, a memorable embrace I try to speak but empty eyes stare back at me Twisted tongues segregate, factions are forming Ill stay with those that resemble me To survive this harsh <b>…<b>
