Godflesh

Fall Of Because – Devastator (pre-Godflesh 1986)

Named after a Killing Joke song and formed in 1982 by GC Green (bass) and Paul Neville (guitar, tapes, programming), Fall Of Because were later joined by Justin Broadrick to become what would be later known as Godflesh. Broadrick does the vocals but also the drums (real ones) here. This song is off the Life Is Easy mini album, released in 1999 by Invisible recs. which contained studio and live recordings (featuring Nik Bullen of Napalm Death) from 1986-87. This is a quite different version from the one on Godfleshs Streetcleaner album, its higher pitched, and much noisier in my humble opinion. Enjoy
